The art of magic often involves the seeming ability to defy the laws of logic.
With this stunt you can convince your friends that you have eleven fingers!

Requirements: Ten Fingers (You could use your toes instead, if you like.)
     Tell your friends that you have eleven fingers, and you can prove it! Using your right fore-finger to point with, touch each finger of your left hand, counting "One, two, three, four, five". Then with your left forefinger count the fingers on your right hand, "Six, seven, eight, nine, ten".
     Say "Funny, I know I had eleven. Let's try again". This time count backwards, pointing to the fingers of the left hand, say "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six... ". Then stop, hold up the right hand, and say "Plus five equals eleven! ".  Do this quickly, without pausing!

REQUIREMENTS:   You'll need a piece of rope 3 or 4 feet long.
    This is an easy one, but it will baffle people who don't know how to do it. Hold the rope as in Figure 1, and give your friends a chance to try to tie a knot in the rope without at any time letting go of either end. When they give up, take back the rope and lay it down on a table.
    Now for the secret move: Cross your arms before you pick up the rope! Pick it up one end at a time to make it easier to grasp. When you uncross your arms, a knot will appear in the middle of the rope, without you, at any time, releasing either end!
